Dramatic demonstration of the forces between molecules
Let students pull apart these high-quality metal plates when dry. Then add a small drop of water between the plates--students will be amazed at the force required to pull them apart again. The matching surfaces are precision ground to uniform smoothness with a consict area of approximately 79 square centimeters. Includes instructions.
