Vivid demonstrations can be set up quickly and easily. The lenses, mirrors, and other components average 5cm thick and 20cm high, so they're easy to see--even in large lecture halls. Two adjustable ray projectors provide light ranging from a thin pencil to a divergent cone. Once the equipments is in place and the experiments is running, you can chalk in axes, normals, tangents, virtual rays, and equations to show just how these theoretical contructions relate to a real system.
The durable, acrylic components are packed in a sturdy carrying case and attach together or separately to your blackboard by means of suction cup or magnetic supports. Lenses, mirrors, and prisms attach in seconds and stay secure; even light sources, included in the set, can be mounted on the blackboard. You can rotate the components quickly without needing to shift the supporting brackets. Actual experiments can then be performed right on the board, and the results measured without even darkening the room.
Chose either magnetic or suction cup mounts. Includes instructions and a variety of suggested experiments. Requires a variable voltage transformer.
