Racing Ball
An Amazing Demonstration of the Interaction of Electric Forces
Place a non-conducting racing ball between a top disk and a connedcted lower pan. Mount it all a top an insulating stand. Start the generator and the ball rolls around the pan as the force of the upper disk repels it. Kit includes step-by-step instructions. You must supply insulating stand, electrostatic generator and insulating wire to connect to the unit. Also requires a charge source such as the Van de Graaff Generator or Wimshurst Machine. Size of racing ball 1.3cm diameter; top disk 11cm diameter; lower pan 14cm diameter.
